Understanding human content declarations & verifications
AI assistance vs AI-generated content
AI assistance may be used to support human work (for example, proofreading, transcription, or minor editing).
Content is considered AI-generated when an AI system produces the substantive creative or informational output.
Good-faith declarations
Declarations are made in good faith. This community is built on honesty, not perfection.
Honest mistakes are treated differently from deliberate misrepresentation.
Human-led verification
Verification is human-led and handled with care.
This process is built on transparency, care, and human judgement — not perfection.
Questions, clarification, and review are part of verification.
Why this exists
As AI-generated content becomes more common, it is harder for people to know where information comes from.
This framework helps preserve visibility, trust, and accountability for human-made work.
Permitted AI assistance
AI tools may be used only in a supporting role, including (but not limited to):
- Spelling and grammar suggestions
- Minor text refinement without content generation

- Background removal from human-created images
- Research or reference assistance that does not generate final content

- AI-written articles, captions, scripts, or posts
- AI-generated images, illustrations, or artwork
- AI-generated video, animation, or motion graphics
- AI-generated voice, music, or sound
